Our Favorites: A Cabo Spring Break with Kids

Kids in Cabo

Have you been trying to figure out your spring break plans? Let us introduce you to Cabo San Lucas. As part of our “Favorites” series, we’re sharing our favorite Spring Break plans for vacationers of all ages. From kindergarten to college, we’ve got you covered.

Let’s Kick Things Off with THE KIDDOS:

To sum it up, we’re giving you ideas that are easy and fun for all. No need for parents to be bored while the kids play on this family vacation.

Perfect Weather:

No keeping the kids cooped up because the weather is misbehaving. Springtime in Baja equates to perfect temperatures — March and April hover in the low 80s for the highs — and lots and lots of sunshine. Seriously, the average rainfall during the spring is under .01!

Palm Trees Against A Blue Sky

Secretly Educational:

Don’t miss out on a whale watching tour around the Baja Peninsula. Your kids will love being out at sea and, of course, getting up close and personal to the Grey and Humpback whales. This excursion is also an adventure you’ll be proud to have your kids take back to school.

Sand Castles Galore:

Villa La Estancia is ideally located right there on Medano Beach. You’re literally steps from this amazing white sand beach, the perfect spot for constructing the most epic of sand castles. As the kids build, you get to lounge under shade umbrellas and enjoy oceanfront food and beverage service.

Snorkeling at Chileno:

If you’re like most with young kids, you want to enjoy the ocean, but in a safe way. For ocean outings, our selection is Chileno Beach. For starters, it’s blue flag certified, which means it’s water quality, amenities, etc are far above average. The beach is also protected from strong waves and currents. Thanks to those calm waters, it’s the PERFECT place to go snorkeling. Your kids will love to see under the sea and you don’t have to worry about their safety.

Poolside Peace:

Most spring breakers are looking for some R&R in the sun. The La Estancia Cabo pool is just what you need. It’s great for kids thanks to its sloping entry — even the youngest can enjoy a little splashing. It’s also spacious enough for the older kids to float and play. Between dips in the pool, enjoy the lounge chairs and shade umbrellas while catching up on your reading. Parilla Grill offers poolside dining and there’s a swim up bar with plenty of refreshments.

It affords parents a chance for some peace, quiet and alone time, and kids the time to be kids. Located right next door to Villa La Estancia, the Villa Del Palmar features a whale-shaped water slide and kiddie pool, and kid’s programs that include arts, crafts and age-specifics activities.
