Spending Spring in Cabo San Lucas

Flowers blooming, schools on break, and the sun is shining! We can’t think of a better time to visit Cabo San Lucas in the Spring. Here are our 5 reasons to visit Cabo this Spring!

1. Swimming with Dolphins Cabo

The whales may be migrating away in April, but the dolphins are here to stay! Give your kids (or the kids at heart) the memories of a lifetime as they swim and interact with incredible, intelligent bottlenose dolphins. La Estancia Vacations guests have had great success with Dolphin Adventures (part of Cabo Adventures). Choose from swimming with the amazing mammals to being a trainer for the day!

2. Perfect Cabo Kayaking and Snorkeling

This is the perfect time of year for kayaking. The sun is warm, but not too hot; so you’ll enjoy sitting above the water guiding yourself around the Sea of Cortez. And, of course, when you get a little warm, you can take a dip in the water and feel refreshed! Of course, Land’s End and Lover’s Beach is a convenient kayaking location, but for those who want some new scenery, join a Cabo Outfitters tour to the Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Kayak from Twin Dolphin beach to the stunning Santa Maria Bay, snorkel in Chileno and back.

3. Beautiful Weather

Cabo San Lucas is at its most beautiful each spring. The spring weather in Cabo is hovers in the mid-80s with minimal precipitation and no threat of tropical storms. And by April, many of the colleges are back in session, so you don’t have to fight the college crowds while enjoying the paradise known as Cabo!

4. San Jose Art Walk

We love heading to San Jose del Cabo for the weekly Art Walk (every Thursday). Wander the streets in search of the perfect gift or souvenir from your Mexican adventure. Take your time in the art galleries, enjoying a coffee and even dining al fresco. San Jose has so much to offer, the Thursday Art Walks just enhance the experience. The San Jose Art Walk runs from January to June.

5. Amazing Cabo Sportfishing

For all your anglers, Spring is a great time for reeling in some of the most popular fish species. April and May typically enjoy great conditions for Striped Marlin, Yellowtail Tuna and Snapper.
